What To Expect When You Visit
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.
Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
When are services?
Services are on Sunday evenings at 5 pm.
What are services like?
Our sermons are similar to a small group Bible study. Questions and input from others is strongly encouraged. We want to learn and grow together. After the study, we all gather together for a community dinner (church-provided). After dinner, we have a time of fellowship. We have activities for all ages prepared, but anyone is welcome to do anything– play music, board games, video games, knit, watch movies, bake cookies, or just hang out and chat for as long as you want.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. People attending typically dress in jeans casual. It is very common to see t-shirts, shorts, sandals, and tennis shoes as well. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
How do I get to The Awakening?
